Boycott The NFL!
Please boycott the NFL! First of all, I have loved the NFL all my life. But as a father of two and a patriot, I must ask you to make a pledge to boycott the NFL until everyone stands. Do not go or buy tickets to the games, watch it on TV, and/or support it or buy any NFL merchandise until the NFL Players learn to respect our flag and not kneel during the national anthem.
Do they have a right to protest? Sure they do. Do they have a legitimate complaint? Yes they Do! BUT we as fans also have the right to protest their protest! They can protest all sorts of ways without disrespecting our nation’s flag which allows them the FREE opportunity to play a game for a living and this free opportunity was afforded them to get a college education for free as well. The NFL players have all been gifted their whole lives to play sports, and they have also worked very hard to reach the level of greatness that they now enjoy, but where they are failing is going along with the crowd due to peer pressure and racial lines that blur in my mind, the original intent of Tommie Smith’s black glove salute during the 1968 Olympic games.
The Difference then is that they stood up for something, not kneeled in disrespect to the very symbol of freedom for all. The only time anyone should kneel is in church. There is way more white on white crime and black on black crime, than white on black crime or black on white crime. So to the NFL players I can say this, if you want to help, take your energy and your fame and money and go into your communities helping young kids to raise above racial hatred and succeed as you have done through your sports, or most importantly through education.
So pledge to yourself not to watch any more NFL games and boycott the NFL until #everyonestands. Also NFL team sponsors and NFL Advertisers. Call them and tell them you’re boycotting their products/services.
