How to have Endless Food? That takes an Aquaponics system

In the quest to be prepared for any scenario, Preppers have long thought of the most practical ways to have endless food on hand.  This traditionally meant that one would have to store enough food to last through any doomsday “event”. But what about a way to harvest fresh endless food forever? Yes it can be done! It’s called an Aquaponics System; the dream system for any Prepper. What is an aquaponics system? Aquaponics refers to any system that combines conventional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as snails, fish, crayfish or prawns in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. In an aquaponic system, water from an aquaculture system is fed to a hydroponic system where the by-products are broken down by nitrifying bacteria initially into nitrites and subsequently into nitrates, which are utilized by the plants as nutrients, and the water is then recirculated back to the aquaculture system.

Aquaponics systems can become completely off grid indoors through the use of wind generators or solar panels + batts and inverters to power CFL grow lights, or through Hydro Electric generators from nearby creeks or flowing streams, as well as used for out doors inside green houses.  An aquaponics system can be homemade and customize to your size requirements or professionally manufactured and shipped to your door to save time. Aquaponics provide and seemingly endless food as it can grow a wide variety of types of plants. The most abundant of foods grown in an Aquaponic system is a wide varitey of lettuce, celery, bell peppers, onions, carrots, to name a few. Meat for such an endless self sustaining diet would be dirived from the Talipia fish. Talipia are perfect freshwater fish to use in an aquaponics since they quickly multiple and produce enough fry to sustain a growing population to eat.
