My Newpowa Solar Panel Review:
I have purchased the Newpowa Solar panel (100 watt) and I have been very pleased so far. The other morning (7:30am November 26th, the panel was already putting out 12volts and climbing with the sun’s rise. It was also still hanging around 17volts at 5:45pm peaking at 21 volts open circuit during early afternoon. (That is Eastern Standard Time—Total darkness at 6pm during the month of November.) Also important to note that my panel had to be mounted 150ft away from my solar charge controller. So I’m not getting a significant amount of voltage drop which is a plus. (using 6awg copper wires)
Other Options to Buy:
I’m using my Newpowa Solar panel to charge my Deep Cycle battery which it has not failed to do so each day in use. It is charging it very quickly which I am pleased by so far. ( I am using it through a 500 watt inverter for a small Aquaponics pump and a few CFL grow lights.) I am only having the lights come on during the time the sun is up (or solar voltage is above 12+) so as not to have to tap into my batteries Amp Hours as much. I highly recommend the Newpowa Solar panel as it has served my purposes very well and is certainly worth the small price I paid for it. As well, it will pay for itself within a year since before my system I was using about $10 a month in electricity which I will no longer have to pay for. All in all, I would highly recommend this Newpowa Solar panel, you won’t be disappointed.
