Is the News Scripted? And If So, who’s writing it?

It should scare us to think that one writer could have this much control over so many news stations. If this is the case for a simple story like, “A child’s Birthday” then how much more so for a war, a presidential election, or even a manipulation of stock prices, oil prices…etc. Even though this quite possibly is just a simple case of an AP news story with an attached script which some lazy producer didn’t want to change; still the implications are there–control the news and you control the world. Thank goodness the internet is breaking down the grip on what we see and hear and for better or worse, what we believe.
